My Goals

I am, by nature, a goal-oriented person.  If I don’t have something to work towards, I am lost.  I have accomplished a lot of things in my life that I am proud of but there is SO MUCH more I want to do!

What I have not done is a) put my list in writing and b) put it out there for the world to see.  Yikes!  Below is the start to what I suspect will be an ever-changing list.

Health & Fitness

  • Run a sub3:30 marathon
  • Run a 100km race
  • Run a multi-day stage race
  • Start or be involved with a run group to help people get off the streets
  • Organize and attend a yoga retreat with my girlfriends
  • Run the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim-to-rim (80Km-ish)
  • Become a Lululemon ambassador
  • Have my own garden with lots and lots of kale and tomatoes
  • Become proficient at cooking raw, vegan food


  • Sport a mohawk (purple, maybe?)
  • Volunteer at a homeless shelter
  • Own a (large) dog
  • Start a personal website on vegetarian running – DONE – April 2010
  • Go sky-diving
  • Own a ’68 or ’69 El Camino
  • Own recreational property (preferably on a lake)
  • Find a job (or create a job) that incorporates my love of health/fitness
  • Crowd surf at a rock concert – DONE – Sept 2010 (Disturbed rocks!!!!)
  • Finish my Bachelor of Technology degree… finally
  • Explore Canada on an extended roadtrip
