I also understand that it can be difficult to make the switch to a vegetarian diet without understanding how to vary your diet and get all the nutrients you need.
Knowing how to eat properly as a vegetarian is important for everyone, but it is especially important for runners and other athletes. Runners who consume a vegetarian or vegan diet have already made a choice to have a healthy diet, but they still need to know the basics of how to eat right (and to not get bored) without eating meat.
